Electric Fencing
Electric fencing creates a physical barrier around your property that delivers a voltage adjustable, non-lethal electric shock to would-be intruders. Electric fences function as an early warning system - when a wire is cut or tampered with, the energizer triggers an alarm or notifies your armed response company immediately. The purpose of Electric Fence systems both deters intrusion attempts and alerts you to breaches in real-time, allowing for armed security response to intervene before an intruder gains access to your property.
How does an Electric Fence work?
An electric fence, uses an energizer to send a high-voltage but low amperage pulse through the wires that are mounted and run around the your perimeter wall or fence. These pulses occur every 1 to 2 seconds, creating a continuous deterrent with electrical voltage but without the continuous current flow. When someone touches the wires, they complete the circuit connection to ground, and receive an uncomfortable but non-lethal & safe shock. The energizer will then detect the voltage drop and will trigger an alarm activation.

New Installations
We do complete end to end electric fence system design and installation for residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural properties. Our installations include energizer setup with wire run and install, with either 6, 8 or 24+ wire and wall pole mounting and or free standing electric fence installations. We ensure our fences are SANS 10222-3 compliance certified.
Repairs, Maintenance and Compliance Inspections
We repair and maintain all electric fence installations, including systems originally installed by other contractors. We provide SLA agreements or maintenance contracts to customers with on-site visits and full fence inspections, repairs and servicing of installations - our SLA we offer ensures highest uptime and operations of your electric fence installation. As SAEFIA-registered installers, we conduct official electric fence compliance inspections for all existing systems and offer advise and remediation for non-compliance issues. Our inspections test voltage output, earthing, ensure adequate warning signs around the fence, and overall system safety. After successful inspection, we issue the required Certificate of Compliance for your installation.
Agricultural Electric Fencing
We install specialized electric fencing installations for farms, small-holdings, rural properties, and game reserves. Agricultural fencing use-cases include livestock containment, predator deterrence, crop protection, and wildlife management. We offer and install energizers along with solar panels for remote locations without normal municipal, we design fence configurations specific to different livestock types and farming operations.
Electric Fencing Configurations
Zero-Feel and Low voltage
Electric fence energizers can be configured for low voltage mode, which reduces output voltage to levels that deter without causing harm to children or animals.
The energizer still monitors the fence and triggers alarms when breaches occur, but the shock intensity is calibrated for safety around family members and pets.
For ultra low voltage or Zero feel, this removes the shock output entirely but also maintaining full alarm and fence monitoring capabilities. When wires are touched or cut, the system triggers alarms and armed response without delivering any shock.
This configuration is common for properties where liability concerns outweigh the need for physical deterrence, for example, a gated residence or complex without a barrier fence.
